Sr. Product Manager, Life Cycle Management - Xenium Platform

About the Role: We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Life Cycle Management to own install base health, performance, and sustaining growth for our on-market Xenium in situ platform. This position will report to the Associate Director of Product Management, In Situ Platforms and be responsible for leading life cycle management activities across the Xenium instrument and consumables portfolio, in close coordination with the broader Spatial Platforms product team and cross-platform stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration with R&D, manufacturing/operations, supply chain/planning, marketing, sales, finance, and service/support to keep the Xenium platform performing in the field. 

What you will be doing:

  • Own the life cycle management strategy for the Xenium In Situ platform and consumables

  • Serve as the primary customer and field advocate for on-market products, gathering feedback from sales, support, and direct customer interactions

  • Interface with R&D, manufacturing operations, and service/support to resolve product issues and ensure products continue to meet customer expectations

  • Own customer-facing and internal product change notifications, and own communication of those changes to cross-functional teams

  • Manage supply/demand planning and forecasting for assigned instruments and consumables

  • Own the business case, financial assumptions, and revenue targets for Xenium in partnership with product and finance teams

  • Track product line KPIs (revenue, margin, install-base health) 

Minimum Requirement

  • BS in life science field 

  • 6 years of experience in marketing in Life Sciences

  • Must have experience in customer interactions in either a Sales, Business Development or Marketing function

  • Must have strong communication skills with experience communicating to all levels of an organization

  • Experience conducting market research and developing detailed product requirements

 Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Direct experience with spatial transcriptomics, spatial proteomics, or imaging platforms

  • Experience managing an installed base of capital instruments

  • Experience building and defending business cases, financial models, and pricing strategy for on-market products

  • Ability to influence across the organization at all levels and serve as player/coach depending on business needs

  • Strong technical knowledge of genomics, and/or next generation sequencing and molecular biology products

  • Proficient written, communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams covering various internal organizations

  • Exceptional time and project management skills and ability to prioritize competing requests

  • Willing to travel up to 30%
