Associate Director / DGM - Operations Strategy & Design
Job type: Full Time · Department: Operations · Work type: On-Site
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
We are looking for a AD/DGM - Operations Strategy & Design to join our team at ACKO. As a key member of our organization, this role will play a crucial part in driving high-impact initiatives across the organization, combining analytical rigor, execution excellence, and business acumen. This role will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and growth, leading cross-functional programs that shape how we scale and monetize our business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, building scalable processes from scratch, and turning strategy into measurable outcomes. If you're a strategic thinker with a bias for action, a strong communicator, and a problem-solver, we want to hear from you.
a. Strategic & Operational Planning
Design, evaluate, and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
Partner with leadership to define quarterly and annual OKRs across business and product functions.
Develop robust operating models, process frameworks, and dashboards to track performance and impact.
b. Program & Initiative Management
End-to-end program management of critical cross-functional initiatives — from concept to launch to post-launch optimization.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business outcomes.
Build playbooks, SOPs, and feedback loops to institutionalize best practices across teams.
c. Monetisation & Product Strategy
Drive monetisation roadmaps for new and existing product launches — including pricing, partnerships, and go-to-market planning.
Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Finance teams to translate user insights and business data into revenue-generating opportunities.
Evaluate ROI for pilots and initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
d. Process Design & Optimization
Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies using lean, data-driven approaches.
Establish scalable systems and automation to support rapid growth and consistency in execution.
Track KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement.
e. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
Communicate complex business problems and recommendations to senior leadership clearly and succinctly.
5–10 years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Planning, or Process Design, ideally across startups or high-growth environments.
Proven experience in program management of critical initiatives or large-scale transformation projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Experience in driving business or product monetisation initiatives preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — ability to influence without authority.
Hands-on, bias-for-action mindset — thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced settings.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Notion, Asana, or project management systems.
MBA or equivalent degree in business/operations (preferred, not mandatory).
A front-row seat to shape strategic initiatives at scale.
Exposure to leadership decision-making and multi-functional collaboration.
Freedom to conceptualize, experiment, and deliver measurable impact.
Opportunity to own 0→1 projects and drive business transformation.
