Trainer (Service Center & Field Operations)

🔹 About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Trainer (Specialist Level) to join our Learning & Development team at ACKO. This role focuses on capability building for Service Center Employees(ACKODrive) and Field Operations Executives through effective training delivery, technical knowledge sharing, and on-ground coaching.

The ideal candidate combines strong automobile technical knowledge with proven training delivery expertise, enabling field and service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role will require extensive travel across India to conduct on-site training sessions, assessments, and audits at various ACKOdrive locations.


Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Conduct New Hire, Refresher, and Process Update training for service center and field operations teams.

  • Deliver sessions on vehicle systems, inspection protocols, safety practices, and customer interaction standards.

  • Use demonstrations, simulations, and field-based learning to ensure practical skill transfer.

  • Facilitate behavioral and service excellence workshops to enhance professionalism and empathy.

  • Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to align learning objectives with performance goals.

Content Development & Process Enablement

  • Create and update training decks, SOPs, job aids, and reference materials for field and service center employees.

  • Design both technical and soft-skill learning modules tailored to real operational scenarios.

  • Convert process or policy changes into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand learning aids.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure training content reflects the latest tools, technologies, and workflows.

Coaching, Assessment & Performance Improvement

  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning effectiveness.

  • Perform on-ground evaluations and coaching to support performance improvement.

  • Partner with Ops Managers and Team Leads to identify skill gaps and design targeted training interventions.

  • Maintain detailed learner records, assessment data, and training dashboards.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Track and report training participation, effectiveness, and learner feedback.

  • Identify patterns in operational challenges and recommend training or process improvements.

  • Explore new learning formats such as microlearning, e-learning, and video-based content.

  • Stay informed on automotive industry updates, EV technologies, and field safety standards.


🔹 Who Can Apply?

✔ Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive training, service, or field operations coaching (experience with OEMs, RSA, or insurance preferred). ✔ Strong understanding of automobile systems, garage management systems (preferred) service workflows, and inspection processes. ✔ Proven experience in facilitating engaging classroom and on-field training sessions. ✔ Good communication and facilitation skills (English & Hindi; South regional languages preferred but not mandatory). ✔ Proficient in G-suite, MS PowerPoint, Excel, and LMS/e-learning platforms. ✔ Willingness and ability to travel PAN India for on-site training and capability audits. ✔ Passion for developing people and driving operational excellence.
