Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct credit analysis of proposed issuers, including corporates, PSUs, NBFCs and banks, through financial statement review, cash flow assessment and business/industry risk evaluation.

  • Prepare credit appraisal notes and investment recommendation reports for the Sub Investment Committee.

  • Monitor the debt portfolio for rating changes, covenant breaches, sector stress and early warning signals.

  • Track macroeconomic, sector and company-specific developments that may impact credit quality.

  • Track regulatory updates from RBI, SEBI, and IRDAI, and assess their impact on portfolio holdings.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong understanding of credit analysis principles, financial ratio analysis, and balance sheet/cash flow interpretation

  • Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work under regulatory and reporting deadlines

  • 4–7 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in credit research or credit analysis.

  • Prior experience with an insurance company, mutual fund/AMC, bank credit department, NBFC, or a credit rating agency preferred

Educational Qualification

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA from a recognized institute

  • CFA / FRM certification preferred (completed or pursuing)
