🚀Your Mission:

As a Senior Product Manager at Aftershoot, you’ll take on the exciting challenge of building our new AI editing app from the ground up. You’ll start with a 0-1 product vision, integrating features like raw rendering (manual editing sliders, similar to Adobe Lightroom) into Aftershoot’s existing AI editing tool.

🎯What You Will Be Doing:

The goal in the early days will be to identify key differentiators to the workflow that will drive users away from existing manual tools.. You’ll also have to keep in mind the table stakes that already exist in a tool like Lightroom, and figure out the minimum features you’ll need to make the transition possible for new users. 

Once you’ve worked with engineering and design to launch an MVP, you’ll then collaborate with marketing to create the perfect GTM before shifting focus on scaling the product from 1-n.

You’ll figure out how to retain customers and avoid getting into a table-stakes battle with existing solutions. You’ll also have to navigate bringing the thousands of existing customers onto the new Aftershoot, making sure they continue finding value in the Aftershoot they know and love.

This is a role for someone passionate about user-centric product development, with deep empathy for photographers and the tools they rely on.

💪What We’re Looking for:

• Education: We don’t require a degree. We value entrepreneurial thinking—if you’ve built something in the past, that’s a strong advantage.

• Photography Skills: You’ll need to empathize with photographers’ needs and understand the technical aspects of editing. Experience with tools like Lightroom is a must.

• Experience: 6-9 years of product management experience, including a track record of taking 0-1 products to market and scaling them.

  Startup experience is a plus.

  Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, and SQL.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

  Nice to have skills:

• Built your venture or other entrepreneurial experience.

• Experience in B2C SaaS, particularly creative tools.
