About Alaffia & Our Mission

Each year, the U.S. healthcare system suffers from over $500B in wasted spending due to medical billing fraud, waste, and administrative burden. At Alaffia, we’re committed to changing that paradigm. We’ve assembled a team of clinicians, AI engineers, and product experts to build advanced AI solutions that will directly bend the cost curve for all patients across the healthcare ecosystem. Collectively, we’re building best-in-class AI software to provide our customers with co-pilot tools, AI agents, and other cutting-edge solutions to reduce administrative burden and reduce healthcare costs.

We’re a high-growth, venture-backed startup based in NYC and are actively scaling our company.

About the Role

We're seeking a Contract Recruiter to join our team for 4-6 months to support our expansion across Payment Integrity and Operations within our Managed Services business. You'll own full-cycle recruiting for multiple roles we’ll be hiring throughout the year, dually focused on bringing candidates through to offer in streamlined interview processes while also building talent pipelines for long-term growth.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in digital health or healthtech recruiting, and knows how to balance speed with quality when filling volume roles with strict time-to-fill requirements (with an unwavering focus on delivering a great candidate experience).

NYC-based candidates will have the option to work out of our NYC office T/W/Th.

What You'll be Doing

  • Manage 4-6 open requisitions simultaneously across Operations and Payment Integrity

  • Own the entire recruiting process from intake to offer acceptance: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing feedback, and closing candidates

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

  • Leverage multiple channels including job boards, employee referrals, networking, and direct outreach

  • Coordinate interview schedules across multiple stakeholders with limited availability

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our ATS (we use Kula, but experience with any of Greenhouse, Ashby, or Gem is advantageous)

  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and Recruiting lead on pipeline status, bottlenecks, and forecast

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house) in high-growth environments

  • Digital health or healthtech recruiting experience required

  • An understanding of the broader talent market trends and can speak credibly to healthcare candidates

  • Experience managing volume-based or evergreen roles with clear time to fill goals.

  • Experience with deadline-driven recruiting, operating with urgency to fill roles from open to offer within 30-45 days

  • Strong sourcing skills with demonstrable experience building pipelines from scratch

  • Proficiency with modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar)

  • Expert-level LinkedIn Recruiter and search capabilities
