The devotion market is a $44B opportunity in India (growing at 10% CAGR), which is primarily offline and unorganised. Of the $44B, temples drive GMV of ~$27B in offerings, services, and commerce. There are 2M+ temples in India, about 10k of them have a strong historical and cultural significance. Tourism to these places is a $10B opportunity. Sri Mandir is growing 20–25% month-on-month.
We are looking for an empathetic and customer-focused intern to manage end-to-end appointment scheduling and real-time coordination between customers and astrologers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Manage end-to-end appointment scheduling with astrologers
Coordinate with customers and astrologers in real time
Handle customer queries, reschedules, and follow-ups empathetically
Ensure smooth consultation flow and timely updates
Support the team in resolving operational and customer-related issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer-first and empathetic mindset
Good coordination and multitasking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of customer support or sales processes is a plus
Prior internship or experience in customer support, telesales, operations, or sales is preferred
Freshers with strong communication skills and customer-handling ability can also apply
