As a QA Engineer Intern, you will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability and user experience. Under the mentorship of senior QA professionals, you'll gain hands-on exposure to both manual and automation testing processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn industry best practices in test execution, automation scripting, bug reporting, and release validation in a fast-growing tech environment.
Test Execution & Reporting
Understand product features and execute both manual and automated test cases.
Write and maintain basic automation scripts under guidance.
Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with clarity and detail.
Validate bug fixes across dev/staging environments.
Collaboration & Learning
Work closely with QA and engineering teams to understand functionality and expected behavior.
Learn sprint QA activities such as sanity checks, smoke testing, exploratory testing, and test automation planning.
Participate in daily stand-ups, test case reviews, and QA retrospectives.
Automation Support
Assist in building and maintaining a suite of automated regression tests.
Learn automation frameworks used by the team (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Contribute to enhancing automation coverage and improving test reliability.
Documentation Support
Assist in maintaining QA artifacts like test cases, checklists, automation logs, and bug reports.
Contribute to QA knowledge base by documenting test strategies, automation approaches, and known issues.
Quality Mindset
Develop a strong understanding of quality metrics, user empathy, and functional accuracy.
Be proactive in identifying potential areas of improvement in both manual and automated test coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in software quality, testing, and user experience.
Basic understanding of QA concepts, test automation, and scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java).
Familiarity with any test automation tools or frameworks is a plus.
Attention to detail and ability to follow structured testing processes.
Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar bug tracking/test case management platforms is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
