About the role

For a proactive Sourcing Executive to manage vendors for a women’s ethnic

wear brand. The role involves field-based vendor engagement, purchase order execution, and

ensuring finished goods are inwarded on time to support production and dispatch schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to vendor units to assess capacity, quality, and production

readiness.

• Place and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely inwarding of finished goods as

per committed timelines.

• Take end-to-end ownership of resolving vendor issues, including quality escalations,

delays, and payment queries.

• Negotiate rates, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

• Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to align sourcing with order

priorities.

• Maintain vendor records, sourcing trackers, and inwarding reports.

• Continuously map new vendors and sourcing options to strengthen the supply base.

• Open to frequent field visits.

• High ownership in resolving vendor issues.

• Ability to ensure timely inwarding of finished goods as per committed timelines.

Key skills & qualifications

• Strong vendor sourcing and relationship management skills.

• Good negotiation and follow-up abilities.

• Working knowledge of ethnic wear fabrics, trims, and vendor ecosystems.

• Proficiency in Excel and sourcing/purchase trackers.

• Willingness to travel extensively for vendor visits.

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in any field; background in textiles, fashion, or supply chain

preferred.
