About Asher Med

Asher Med is a fast-growing software-enabled Management Services Organization (MSO) that partners with gyms, med spas, chiropractors, and other wellness-forward businesses to bring medical weight loss solutions directly to communities across the U.S. We manage the medical side—including compliance, prescribing, and patient care—so our partners can focus on what they do best: helping people feel better in their bodies. We're currently expanding our team to meet growing demand and are looking for highly detail-oriented professionals to join us in supporting patients safely and accurately.

About the Role

We're hiring a Medication Intake Review Specialist to join our clinical operations team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in structured, detail-heavy environments and enjoys playing a mission-critical role in ensuring patients get exactly what they need—on time and without errors. You will be responsible for reviewing patient intake forms, selecting the appropriate dosing and vial configuration based on the patient's needs and medical history, and preparing these for provider review. Additionally, you'll be tasked with updating medication dosing, coordinating changes to shipping schedules or pharmacy fulfillment, and keeping internal records and partner communications fully accurate. This role is repetitive but essential, requiring fast processing without sacrificing attention to detail. If you're someone who notices the smallest inconsistency, double-checks everything, and enjoys having clean data and clear outcomes, you'll thrive here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review new patient intake records for accuracy and completeness

  • Choose appropriate medication dose and vial selection based on protocol

  • Add clinical notes and prep charts for provider sign-off

  • Identify missing or conflicting information and follow up with patients, partners, or providers as needed

  • Cross-reference previous dosing for existing patients or analyze incoming patients and update medication dosing based on protocol or provider direction

  • Update and verify pharmacy shipping information (including tracking)

  • Coordinate shipping adjustments with pharmacies, partners, and patients as needed

  • Maintain high levels of documentation accuracy in all patient-facing systems

  • Escalate unusual dosing requests, clinical concerns, or delays to the proper internal teams

  • Ensure timely submission of prescription requests to avoid care delays

  • Audit records for discrepancies and correct errors before final review

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail—your work must be accurate 100% of the time

  • Fast, focused, and comfortable with repetitive processes

  • Experience in a clinical, medical, or pharmacy setting strongly preferred

  • Strong written communication skills for professional messaging and documentation

  • High comfort level using digital tools: EMRs, spreadsheets, patient intake platforms

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

  • Capable of navigating patient records quickly while staying accurate and compliant

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with GLP-1 medications (e.g., semaglutide, tirzepatide)

  • Experience processing medication orders or coordinating pharmacy fulfillment

  • Understanding of patient dosage titration protocols

  • Highly organized and naturally triple-check your work

  • Excited about building something new in a growing startup-like environment
