About the Role

The Project Manager at Asher Health will oversee operational initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring projects stay on schedule, stakeholders remain aligned, and systems are optimized for efficiency.

This person will serve as a central coordination point between operations, leadership, vendors, and internal teams while owning project tracking and workflow management inside Jira.

The Project Manager will work closely with and report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities  

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead and manage operational projects across departments

  • Build detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability

  • Track deliverables, risks, blockers, and resource allocation

  • Drive projects from initiation through completion with minimal oversight

  • Facilitate project status meetings and provide leadership updates

Jira Administration & Workflow Management

  • Serve as the internal expert for Jira project management workflows

  • Build and maintain Jira boards, dashboards, automations, and reporting systems

  • Create scalable workflows and process documentation

  • Ensure proper ticket organization, prioritization, and SLA tracking

  • Develop reporting structures for executive visibility

  • Train team members on Jira best practices and operational workflows

  • Optimize Jira usage to improve operational efficiency and execution speed

Operational Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements

  • Create SOPs and documentation for repeatable operational processes

  • Improve communication and handoff procedures across teams

  • Support operational scaling initiatives and strategic projects

  • Help establish KPIs and performance reporting frameworks

Communication & Leadership

  • Act as a liaison between leadership and operational teams

  • Communicate project progress, timelines, and risks clearly

  • Maintain high standards of organization and accountability

  • Proactively solve problems and escalate issues when necessary

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management or operations experience

  • Advanced proficiency with Jira, including:

    • Workflow creation

    • Automation rules

    • Dashboards and reporting

    • Sprint/project tracking

    • Board configuration

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work independently and drive execution

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in healthcare operations or healthcare technology

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • Experience implementing operational systems and process improvements

Compensation Range

  • Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
