About the Job

Aspen Standard Wealth is scaling rapidly through acquisition, and we’re hiring an Inside Sales Manager to lead and grow our inbound sales function. This team is responsible for qualifying inbound leads generated through Aspen’s marketing efforts and booking introductory meetings with financial advisors at our partner firms. This role sits at the top of the funnel, ensuring high-quality prospects are identified, engaged quickly, and successfully converted into scheduled meetings.

This individual will manage a small team of Business Development Associates (BDAs), improve conversion performance across the funnel, and build the processes and coaching systems needed to scale this function over time. This is a player-coach role, ideal for a strong inside sales professional stepping into their first management position.

This role is based in New York City, with up to 20% travel.

Responsibilities

Below are the core areas of work for this role. Over time, responsibilities may evolve, but this should provide a clear view of what to expect.

  • Own inbound sales performance: Manage and improve key metrics including speed-to-lead, MQL-to-SQL conversion, number of meetings booked, and show rates

  • Lead and develop the team: Manage and develop BDAs through call reviews, structured feedback, and ongoing coaching to improve qualification and conversion skills

  • Drive process improvement: Refine outreach sequences, qualification criteria, and call scripts to improve efficiency and outcomes

  • Build operational structure: Improve CRM workflows, reporting, and lead management processes in partnership with technical teams

  • Operate as a player-coach: Step into qualification calls as needed to assess quality and model best practices

Experiences and Functional Skills Required

  • 5+ years of proven inside sales experience in a high-velocity inbound environment within financial services or wealth management

  • Experience formally developing others or holding others accountable for their performance, whether through direct management, formal coaching or mentoring

  • Experience working with financial advisors and/or high-net-worth (HNW) clients

  • Experience improving sales processes, workflows, or systems (not just executing them)

Behaviors and Mindsets Required

  • Directing Work -- Sets clear expectations, provides direction, and ensures others know what success looks like.

  • Performance Optimizer -- Improves outcomes by identifying constraints, measuring what matters and institutionalizing gains.
