As a Product Designer at Kula, you will be responsible for leading the design process, from concept to delivery. You will work closely with our product management and engineering teams to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and develop design solutions that drive business results. Your keen eye for detail, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively will be essential in guiding our design direction.

Skills & Qualification

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and InVision

• Experience with user research, usability testing, and human-centered design principles

• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, patterns, and best practices

• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

• Excellent collaboration and project management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and design systems

• Portfolio that showcases your design experience, process, and thinking

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions that meet business objectives and customer needs

• Lead the design process, from concept to delivery, ensuring that designs are user-centered, visually appealing, and meet technical requirements

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions

• Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and assets to ensure consistency and efficiency across products

• Communicate design concepts and ideas effectively through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to prioritize design tasks and ensure timely delivery

• Develop and maintain a design roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve design capabilities

• Provide design feedback and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders

• Develop and maintain a design portfolio that showcases your experience, process, and thinking
