About Job

As a Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Java at Kula, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality of our software products. Your expertise in Java and testing methodologies will enable you to design, develop, and execute test plans, identify and report defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Working closely with our development and QA teams, you will contribute to the development of our testing strategies, test automation frameworks, and defect management processes. Your experience will also help you to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that our software meets the requirements of our users.

Skills & Qualification

  • Deep understanding of Java programming language and its applications in software development.

  • Experience in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cucumber.

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including black box, white box, and gray box testing.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and well-documented test scripts and reports.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing, incorporating best practices into testing strategies and methodologies.
