AvantStay delivers world class, authentic, tech-enabled short-term rental (“STR”) group experiences targeted at the millennial generation. We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry. We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer.
We have hundreds of homes that stop people mid-scroll. Cliffside houses in Laguna, estates in the Smokies, desert compounds in Palm Springs, rooftops in Nashville. They deserve to be seen by far more people than we reach today, through the creators and brands our guests already trust. We're looking for a Head of Creator & Brand Partnerships to make that happen, and to build the function from the ground up.
You'll lead influencer marketing and brand partnerships for AvantStay end to end. Everything that reaches us from creators and agencies, and everything we go out and make happen ourselves. You'll negotiate the whole deal, not just the post count, and you'll hold people to it. You'll find the brands whose audiences overlap ours and build collaborations that grow both sides. And you'll see the bigger opportunity: partnerships that don't just fill calendars but bring us new homeowners, open new markets, and make AvantStay the name people associate with a certain kind of stay. We're not trying to run the biggest program. We want the right people in the right homes telling specific stories, and you'll say no a lot.
You already know who to call. Creators and the people who manage them, the agencies that run programs, the partnerships teams at the platforms. You get replies because they know you. If that describes you, you'll move fast here, and that matters to us.
What this title means here: you are the first hire in this function. No team yet, no agency in between. Budget from day one, you report to our VP of Growth, and decisions happen in days.
Creator marketing, end to end. Strategy, budget, who we work with and on what terms, and the results.
Inbound. Every creator, agency and press request that reaches us, and a fast, fair answer to each.
Outbound. Finding the right creators for each market and bringing them in.
The deal. Rates, deliverables, rights, exclusivity and disclosure, and the policies that protect our homes and our relationships.
The content. Making sure what comes out of every collaboration keeps working for us long after the stay.
Brand partnerships. Collaborations with brands that share our guests, from first conversation to signed deal to results.
Strategic partnerships. The bigger plays that grow our audience, our supply of homes and our name.
Measurement. A clear line from every partner to awareness, traffic, bookings and owner leads, and a monthly read on what's working.
A network of creators, talent managers and agencies, especially in travel, lifestyle, design, family and luxury, that you can activate in your first 60 days. We'll ask for names.
A record of negotiating creator deals you can walk us through: structure, rights, fees, what you gave up and what it produced.
Outbound experience at volume, with a real reply and close rate, not only managing what comes in.
At least one brand-to-brand collaboration you built from scratch.
Taste. You can judge a creator in a minute, you know when the smaller audience is the better buy, and you're comfortable walking away.
Comfort with numbers. You tie spend to reach, traffic and bookings, and you know which metrics to stop reporting.
Writing that gets answered: briefs, pitches, outreach.
Fluency with creator platforms, affiliate and tracking tools, and AI tools for research and personalization at scale.
4+ years in influencer or creator marketing, brand partnerships or talent management, with at least two years running a program yourself. Travel, hospitality or lifestyle is a strong plus. We care more about the deals you've done than the years.
Nice to have:
You've worked on the talent or agency side and know how managers think.
You've run hosted or gifted programs in hospitality.
You've built partnerships that generated leads or supply, not just reach.
Relationships with creator partnerships teams at TikTok, Meta or YouTube.
This role is not:
A campaign coordinator role inside someone else's program.
Paid media. You'll feed paid with content, but you won't run the accounts.
This role is only open to global candidates outside the United States
Must be able to work US business hours (Pacific, Central, or Eastern time)
Must have excellent written and spoken English (near-native)
Fully remote
Generous paid time off, including local holidays
A build-from-zero mandate with budget from day one.
You report to our VP of Growth, and decisions happen in days, not quarters.
