Your Impact

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be leading the charge for prospecting efforts at Avoma to create awareness around our solution for potential clients as well as generate pipeline. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are curious, diligent, and want to learn and develop their professional skills within a fast-growing start-up. As an early member of the team, we will work together to create the building blocks for our inbound and outbound strategy to set up the foundations and processes for future Sales Development Representatives at Avoma.

What You’ll Do:

Own the Top-of-Funnel

  • Proactively research, prospect, and engage potential leads through phone calls, emails, social selling, and creative outbound sequences.

  • Strategically target key accounts and craft personalized outreach to captivate decision-makers.

  • Spark interest in Avoma by effectively presenting product value in both written and video communication.

  • Coordinate, schedule demos with omni channel outbound outreach for potential customers in the US market.

Collaborate with Sales Teams

  • Work closely with Account Executives to perform account research and tailor outreach strategies.

  • Support seamless handoffs from prospecting to closing, ensuring a frictionless prospect experience.

Leverage Automation & Data

  • Use tools like Clay, HubSpot, AI Agents, LinkedIn and more to automate and optimize your outreach.

  • Stay ahead of deliverability best practices by managing multiple domains and inboxes.

Innovate & Iterate

  • Track metrics such as open rates, reply rates, and call outcomes to refine outreach cadences.

  • Propose fresh ideas to enhance sales strategies, product positioning, and the overall customer journey.

Stay Product-Savvy

  • Keep up-to-date with Avoma’s latest product enhancements, new launches, and AI technology to effectively advise prospects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3 - 5 years of SaaS Sales Development (or similar roles in a fast-paced, US-based SaaS)

  • Demonstrated responsibility and ownership, willing to take initiative, loves hitting (and exceeding) targets, and isn’t afraid to dive into cold calls.

  • Strong communication skills (English)—both written and verbal—and confidence in video prospecting.

  • Proficient in utilizing generative AI tools such as AI Agents, ChatGPT and Gemini to enhance productivity

  • Familiarity with Clay, Zoom Info, HubSpot, Outreach, Reply, Apollo, or similar is a big plus.

  • US accent training or prior experience engaging with US-based customers.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven sales tools and consultative/value-based selling.

  • Outbound BPO experience to north american and european markets preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: 70% base + 30% commission structure

  • Transparent Salary Range: 15 LPA – 20 LPA + commission.

  • Flexible Work Environment: We value outcomes over clock-ins; collaborate from our Pune office with hybrid flexibility.
