About Our Founders:

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientist (Avi Patchava, Varun Modi, Avinash Ramakath, Jayashree Merwade).

What is the team  & role about?

As a Growth Analyst at Bright Money, you’ll play a pivotal role in solving business growth challenges through data-driven insights. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, analyze performance, and build scalable analytics solutions.

You’ll work across SQL-based data systems, automation frameworks, and AI-driven tools to create actionable dashboards, models, and reports that influence key decisions.

What you will do? 

  • Track and maintain business growth metrics on a regular basis.

  • Design and implement end-to-end monitoring and analytics systems.

  • Automate recurring reports and build data pipelines for efficiency.

  • Develop new metrics to measure and optimize growth initiatives.

  • Build analytical models for forecasting revenue, growth, and user behavior.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify problems, form hypotheses, and derive actionable insights.

  • Present findings in clear and structured formats for decision-making.

Ideal candidate profile looks like?

Experience & Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — ability to interpret complex data and “connect the dots.”

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

  • Working knowledge of Python (data handling, visualization, or automation).

  • Hands-on experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.

  • 0–3 years of experience in a growth, business analytics, or data-focused role (preferably in fintech, consumer tech, or startup environments).

  • Exposure to A/B testing, funnel analysis, or cohort analysis.

  • Understanding of marketing performance metrics and attribution modeling.

Mindset & Operating DNA:

  • Familiarity with AI-based automation or analytics workflows is an advantage.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong communication skills and ownership mindset toward deliverables.
