About Our Founders:

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientist (Avi Patchava, Varun Modi, Avinash Ramakath, Jayashree Merwade).

What You'll Do?

  • Perform end-to-end daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial accounts and transactions.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve breaks, discrepancies, and unmatched items within defined SLAs.

  • Investigate root causes of reconciliation issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.

  • Validate financial data accuracy across multiple systems, including bank statements, payment platforms, and internal ledgers.

  • Monitor and track inbound/outbound, Intra bank fund flows, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the fund movement from source to destination.

  • Ensure timely clearance of open items and escalation of aging breaks as required.

  • Validate data accuracy across multiple systems and sources.

  • Maintain reconciliation documentation, supporting schedules, and audit trails.

  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities within reconciliation workflows.

  • Assist in improving reconciliation workflows, templates, and control checks.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.

  • Implement measures to reduce recurring reconciliation issues and strengthen controls.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, technology, and upstream/downstream teams to resolve reconciliation issues effectively.

What You'll Bring?

  • Expertise of minimum 2 - 4 years in the banking and financial services

  • Experience in payment processing, reconciliation, payment technology systems, fraud operations.

  • Other core competencies like Compliance and Risk Management Experience in Advances Excel.

  • Detail oriented and highly organized Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven production environment.

  • Ability to solve payment issues efficiently that improve customer satisfaction and drive scalability
