The Role

We are looking for an Android Engineer (SSE) who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences, while contributing to engineering excellence and platform stability.


What You Will Do

  • Build and ship high-quality Android applications using Kotlin/Java

  • Own end-to-end feature development from design to production

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices (MVVM / modern Android architecture)

  • Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and improve app reliability

  • Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability

  • Stay updated with the latest Android platform changes and adopt modern practices

  • Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and development processes

What We’re Looking For

  • 4-6 years of software development experience with strong focus on Android

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin/Java and Android SDK

  • Experience with modern Android architecture components (MVVM, Jetpack)

  • Hands-on experience with libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, Dagger/Hilt

  • Solid understanding of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization

  • Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations

  • Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design and clean code practices

  • Ability to work with large codebases and improve code structure over time

  • Good debugging and profiling skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with mobile embedded web / WebView integrations

  • Familiarity with RDBMS or local storage solutions (Room, SQLite)

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps

  • Experience in fintech or high-transaction applications

  • Understanding of app security best practices
