Senior Growth Analytics Associate

Job type: Full Time · Department: General Management · Work type: Remote

United States

At Carrum, we live and breathe the mission of transforming the healthcare system to create an unmatched experience for patients. If you are passionate about changing healthcare and want to finally get rid of surprise bills, poor quality, and high prices, while thriving in an entrepreneurial, cutting-edge environment, we would love to connect with you.

In 2014 Carrum reinvented the Centers of Excellence (COE) category in digital health. Today, 90% of the US population lives within 50 miles of a Carrum COE and our providers rank in the top 10% nationally. Our team’s execution has been recognized by the venture community and we’ve raised more than $96M in aggregate from investors like OMERS, Tiger Global Management and Wildcat Ventures. Our impact has been externally proven in a 2021 RAND Corporation study and featured as a Harvard Business School (HBS) case study.

Reporting into the GM team, the Senior Growth Analytics Associate will drive the analytics behind utilization growth and service line performance at Carrum. You will serve as the catalyst for data-driven decision-making transforming raw data into a narrative that helps our leadership team make decisions.  While you are comfortable working with data, this is not a traditional, backend data analyst role. Instead, you will focus on the "so-what"—transforming reports and raw data into a compelling narrative that helps our leadership team make critical decisions.

Leveraging AI, you will balance technical execution—writing queries, training AI models and building dashboards—with business intuition to uncover the "why" behind the numbers. This is a truly pivotal and highly-visible role for Carrum, and a fantastic way to develop expertise in the inner workings of a successful Value-Based Care business.

This is a full time position; the salary range for this role is $100,000-$130,000 plus bonus, depending on level of experience and geographic location.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Identify Trends & Opportunities: Proactively monitor business performance to uncover anomalies, seasonal patterns, or emerging market opportunities, and turn those findings into formal recommendations.

  • Act as a Strategic Advisor: Respond to analytical requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing deep-dives into specific business problems, market trends, and growth blockers.

  • Own Reporting & Narrative: Maintain and work on key performance reports, ensuring they tell a clear, actionable story for the GM team. This will include forecasting, capacity planning and weekly business reviews.

  • Leverage Modern AI Tools: Use internal AI tools to automate manual analytical processes, increase team efficiency, and accelerate your time-to-insight.

  • Partner with Data Engineering: Collaborate with Carrum’s core data team so they can handle the heavy pipeline lifting, leaving you free to focus on high-level business analysis.

We’re excited about you because you…

  • Have a Proven Track Record: You bring 3-5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or business operations at a top tier firm where you regularly translate data into business decisions.

  • Think Like a Consultant (First Principles Orientation): You don't just pull data; you crave the business context behind it. You are right at home in complex spreadsheets and can break down ambiguous problems into its core drivers and isolate key variables

  • Are Fluent in Data (But Strategy-First): You can easily handle complex analytics requests then interpret data and map it to strategic goals. Experience with Excel is a must. SQL and healthcare claims data is preferred, but your ability to see the "big picture" and make concrete recommendations is what sets you apart.

  • Are Resourceful & Entrepreneurial: You can find creative ways to make a big impact quickly, navigate ambiguity, and autonomously drive projects forward without needing a rigid playbook.

  • Balance Rigor with Nuance: You have a demonstrated ability to strike the perfect balance between quantitative rigor and qualitative, situation-specific business nuance.

  • Are a High-Level Communicator: You excel at managing deadlines, prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment, and confidently presenting clear, narrative-driven findings to executive stakeholders.
