Role Overview
As a Salesforce Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering, sales, and operations teams to build and support scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance business operations and customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning Salesforce technologies and building impactful solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions to support business requirements.
- Work with senior engineers to develop features using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Support the development and customization of Salesforce applications including Sales Cloud and Platform features.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment of Salesforce applications and enhancements.
- Help identify opportunities to improve existing Salesforce processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, and product teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience or internship experience in Salesforce development or CRM technologies.
- Basic understanding of the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Salesforce development through internships, projects, or certifications.
- Basic knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce configuration.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Understanding of REST APIs and integrations.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
Good to Have
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I.
- Internship or academic project experience related to CRM platforms or SaaS products.
