As a strategic business development leader at Cashfree Payments, you will lead new customer acquisition in emerging market categories and conversion of leads, drive revenue growth in line with team and organizational objectives, and develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.

Prepare short-term and long-term sales plans, sales approaches, and strategies to consistently achieve revenue targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve targets in line with team and organizational objectives.
Build and manage outbound business development pipeline to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Identify and cultivate key partnerships with startup incubators, industry networks, and business communities to drive merchant acquisition and expand our customer base.
Establish best practices and operating procedures for converting leads to sales and drive operational excellence.
Keep updated on market trends and issues affecting the payments industry and collect competitor intelligence to stay ahead of the market.
Conduct research to understand market trends, identify potential partners, and evaluate opportunities for merchant acquisition.
Work closely with internal teams to tailor our offerings and ensure seamless integration for new merchants brought in through various channels.
Oversee and manage the pipeline of potential partners and merchant leads, ensuring effective tracking, follow-up, and conversion.
Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes related to partnership development and merchant onboarding, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
Provide regular updates and insights on partnership activities, merchant acquisition progress, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management.
To excel in this role, you will require 7-10 years of relevant experience in new client acquisition from a Payment Gateway sales background, with a strong understanding of the payments space and online payments background. You must also have experience in product-focused sales, organized approach to work, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport with customers.
4-8 years of relevant experience in new client acquisition from a Payment Gateway sales background.
