Role Overview:

We are looking for a systematic and analytical professional for our Merchant Risk team. This dual-focus role involves conducting end-to-end risk evaluations including KYC validation, fraud detection, and regulatory adherence while simultaneously driving technical process enhancements. You will work across Risk, Operations and Product departments to engineer automated solutions, intelligent dashboards and decision-support systems that scale our risk management capabilities.

What You Will Do:

• Streamline risk operations by developing APIs, monitoring tools, and automated workflows in partnership with Product and Technology teams.

• Implement real-time tracking systems to bolster internal controls and regulatory oversight.

• Execute comprehensive merchant risk assessments, encompassing KYC checks, profile audits, and operational analysis.

• Monitor transactions to identify fraud markers such as velocity spikes or brand impersonation, and analyze data to detect unauthorized network entity setups.

• Enforce platform and regulatory compliance by reviewing merchant behavior against declared business cases.

• Escalate and manage high-risk cases requiring immediate disablement or enhanced due diligence.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, AI, or related fields)

• Proficiency in any of the Strong programming fundamentals in Java/ JavaScript

• Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data handling and automation

• Understanding of data structures, system design basics, and APIs

• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills

• Interest in AI/ML/LLM applications in real-world operational systems
