Senior Account Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-ownership Senior Account Executive with a strong Hunting mindset to drive business growth in the India region. This role requires someone who can proactively build pipeline, leverage networks, clearly articulate product value, and independently close deals in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will be expected to take full accountability for your number, operate with urgency, and consistently drive outcomes without reliance.

What will you do:

  • Own and deliver revenue targets for your assigned patch (Enterprise Accounts) by driving deals end to end with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Build credibility with prospects by deeply understanding their business and aligning solutions to clear, tangible outcomes.

  • Engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders, leading confident, value-driven conversations and handling objections effectively.

  • Position CleverTap as a category leader by clearly articulating its differentiation and consistently creating a premium experience for customers.

  • Drive urgency across deals by reinforcing impact, ROI, and business relevance throughout the sales cycle.

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with prospects and customers to understand their needs and shape compelling value propositions.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking in Salesforce, ensuring strong funnel hygiene and visibility.

What are we looking for?

Must Have:

  • Bring 8–10 years of SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota, and a clear ability to own and close complex deals.

  • Demonstrate a strong self-starter mindset by building pipeline from scratch and managing the full sales cycle independently

  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, with the presence and judgment to challenge perspectives, influence decisions, and drive meaningful conversations.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, taking initiative and ownership without the need for close supervision.

Good to Have:

  • Understanding of the MarTech domain.

  • Number driven approach towards accounts, targets, regional planning and conversion rates.

  • Knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce).

Measures of Success:

  • Revenue Achievement (Booking, ARR)

  • Revenue retention (NRR)

  • Sustainable revenue growth (CAC: LTV)
