About the Role:

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will serve as a technical team member within the DevOps function, owning large-scale infrastructure initiatives, improving reliability and automation, and enabling engineering velocity. You will work closely with product engineering, security, and SRE teams to build resilient, secure, and cost-efficient systems.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role with architectural influence.

What will you do:

Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture

• Design, build, and manage highly scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS

• Architect & execute multi-region, high-availability deployments

• Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost at scale

DevOps & Automation

• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for services and distributed systems

• Improve deployment velocity while maintaining system reliability

Reliability & Observability

• Strengthen system reliability, uptime, and SLA adherence

• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability

• Lead post-incident reviews and systemic reliability improvements

Containerization & Orchestration

• Improve cluster performance, security, and workload isolation

• Drive container security best practices

Security & Compliance

• Partner with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices

• Ensure infrastructure meets SOC 2, ISO, and enterprise compliance requirements

• Implement vulnerability management and access control best practices

What are we looking for?

Must have:

- BS / MS degree in computer science from premier institutes with top grades or equivalent practical experience.

- 5+ years of experience working in DevOps.

- Experience or working knowledge of provisioning and managing infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform in production

- Experience of being on call schedule to support production

- Experience or working knowledge of packaging and deploying application with docker using ECS or Kubernetes

Good to Have: 

- Proficient in one coding language preferably Golang or Java

- AWS Devops Certification
