About the Role
As an Accounting Manager, International Accounting and Consolidations on our Global Finance Team, you will own the end-to-end intercompany accounting, transfer pricing and consolidation processes and manage local accounting firms to ensure seamless financial reporting across our global operations.
You will support the Global Controller with intercompany accounting processes and statutory financial statement reporting across multiple legal entities and regions. This role will lead the transfer pricing across numerous subsidiaries, lead local statutory audits and work closely with various departments, including treasury, tax, legal, and finance, to coordinate cross-entities activities, reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly and quarterly global consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency remeasurement and translation.
Lead transfer pricing studies and work with the tax department to establish the most efficient structure.
Manage all intercompany transactions, including fundings, asset transfers, cost-plus, and settlements; prepare intercompany journal entries and ensure all intercompany balances are reconciled with proper documentation and alignment across entities.
Support the setup and dissolution of legal entities.
Lead cross-functional teams to execute changes in legal entity structure and manage entity mergers, dissolutions, and creations in ERP systems.
Perform functional currency assessments and ensure accurate FX rate setup and application across global transactions.
Review the international subsidiaries monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
Lead the local statutory financial audits in international subsidiaries.
Develop policies and procedures to streamline and shorten the close and reporting cycle related to global consolidations and eliminations, and support the integration of new entities into the consolidation process.
Support automation initiatives related to consolidations and intercompany accounting tasks, including optimizing the use of ERP systems.
Assist, as needed, with various special projects.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on consolidations and intercompany transactions with foreign currency for multiple entities as well as familiarity with transfer pricing.
Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, elimination processes, GAAP/IFRS, and financial reporting requirements for foreign subsidiaries.
NetSuite and FloQast experience is preferred.
