As a People Partner on our People Team, this position serves as a strategic partner to assigned regional leaders and employees, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The HRBP will provide comprehensive HR support and expertise, fostering a positive work environment, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies. This role is critical in developing and implementing people strategies that support the growth and success of the organization.
To drive success in this role, you will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization and within the People Department.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their strategies, objectives, and challenges, and translate them into actionable HR plans.
Provide strategic guidance and support on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and change management initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to management on all people-related issues.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and calibration.
Provide guidance and counsel to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Promote and foster a positive and inclusive work environment that drives high employee morale and engagement.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns with fairness and objectivity.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Support the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure smooth transitions and integrations into teams.
Lead and support change management efforts within the business units, ensuring smooth transitions and employee adoption of new processes or structures.
Experience: 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in an HR Business Partner role, preferably supporting teams located in Uruguay.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and current employment laws in Uruguay.
Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a perk.
Education: Degree in Human Resources or Training program equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently as directed.
Ability to work alternative schedules as needed to meet client needs.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
