As a GL Accounting Manager on our Finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day GL activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in journal entries, reconciliations, and account maintenance as we scale for IPO readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage General Ledger (GL) operations across all entities.

  • Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.

  • Drive efficiency in GL operations by automating manual processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Support quarterly and annual external audits by preparing audit-ready workpapers and documentation.

  • Partner with the Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to provide accurate financial data for reporting.

  • Ensure GL processes comply with SOX/internal control requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on general ledger operations.

  • Prior experience reviewing journal entries and reconciliations in a multi-entity environment.

  • Big Four or public accounting experience is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with fintech, insurtech, or high-growth technology companies.

  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS experience is a plus).

  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP and advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to coordinate with teams across multiple time zones and work under pressure.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.

*The cash compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $165,000. Compensation will vary based on experience.
