About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Web & Social Media Manager who lives at the intersection of performance marketing, user experience, and brand storytelling. You will be responsible for our global website and subdomains, ensuring they are not only beautiful and functional but also high-converting engines for growth and brand awareness. You will lead our organic social strategy and help develop our inbound content engine, staying ahead of the curve by evolving our SEO strategy into the era of generative engine optimization (GEO) and AI overviews (AIOs). You will also manage our social media accounts, bringing creativity and life to our online presence. 

Key responsibilities

Website Strategy & CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)

  • Web Ownership: Lead the end-to-end refresh, maintenance, and evolution of the Cover Genius website and all global subdomains.

  • Performance Optimization: Execute a rigorous A/B testing roadmap. Constantly iterate on messaging, CTA placement, and UI/UX to improve conversion rates.

  • User Experience: Optimize for "scroll" and engagement, ensuring a seamless journey from landing page to lead capture.

  • Technical Health: Partner with developers to ensure site speed, mobile responsiveness, and technical stability.

SEO and GEO Strategy and Execution

  • Future-Proofing Search: Build and execute a strategy that moves beyond traditional keywords into Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Overviews (AIO).

  • Content Engine: Research, write, and produce high-impact, top-of-funnel content, including blogs, guides, pillar pages, and landing pages designed to capture search intent.

  • Video Integration: Champion short-form video content as a tool for both social engagement and SEO/AIO reach.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Own SEO and GEO from top to bottom, establishing a baseline for our SEO and GEO posture, creating a strategy for growth, and implementing that strategy site-wide.

Social media and community management

  • Channel Mastery: Manage and grow the Cover Genius brand presence on LinkedIn, Reddit, TrustRadius, and other social channels.

  • Engagement: Develop a distinct voice for different platforms, measure and report on success, and increase reach and engagement.

  • Social Selling/Advocacy: Empower the broader team with content and strategies to amplify our reach through employee advocacy.

Analytics and inbound marketing

  • Full-Funnel Tracking: Own the reporting for all organic inbound channels.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Use Google Analytics, Hubspot, and Google Search Console to provide weekly/monthly insights on site traffic, conversion health, and social sentiment.

  • Attribution: Work to refine our understanding of how organic content and social touchpoints contribute to the overall sales pipeline.

What you will bring

  • Experience: 6+ years in digital marketing, web management, or growth marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, FinTech, or Insurtech.

  • Web Proficiency: Experience with CMS platforms (HubSpot, WordPress, or Webflow) and a solid understanding of UI/UX principles.

  • CRO Mindset: Proven track record of running A/B tests (using tools like Optimizely, VWO, or Hotjar) that resulted in measurable conversion lifts.

  • SEO/AI Savvy: You aren’t just "doing SEO.” You understand how LLMs and AI search engines are changing the landscape and are ready to experiment with GEO tactics.

  • Creative Execution: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to turn complex insurance concepts into engaging short-form video or long-form guides.

  • Platform Knowledge: Native-level understanding of LinkedIn and Reddit algorithms; experience managing reputation on platforms like TrustRadius or G2.

  • Analytical Rigor: Proficient in GA4, web tracking tools, and Excel/Google Sheets; able to turn raw data into a narrative for leadership.

*The cash compensation range for this role is $100,000- $125,000
