About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Financial Reporting & Audits, to drive financial integrity and audit excellence across our global operations. This role sits at the critical intersection of business processes and technology, requiring a professional who is equally comfortable with financial statement preparation as they are with technology-driven control assessments.

You will act as a key collaborator across internal teams, preparing high-quality financial statements and managing the delivery of supporting documentation for external audits. This is a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end visibility into our critical processes, ensure the sufficiency of IT and business controls, and enable leadership to strengthen our global risk posture. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to simplify and operationalize complex audit initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit & External Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors; prepare and provide technical memos, schedules, and comprehensive audit documentation.

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Partner with third-party service providers to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

  • Internal Controls: Evaluate and document the effectiveness of business and IT controls, identifying gaps and suggesting remediations.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial operating workflows to increase efficiency and data reliability.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in public company financial reporting, industry finance, or Big Four audit.

  • Technical Knowledge: Practical familiarity with IFRS and/or local accounting standards, preferably within the tech or insurance sectors.

  • Systems Savvy: Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/reporting tools is highly preferred.

  • Project Leadership: A proactive individual contributor capable of managing projects independently from inception to delivery.

  • Global Mindset: Experience collaborating across multiple time zones and partnering with diverse organizational stakeholders.
