About the Role

As Cover Genius continues to grow and more people choose our products to protect them, our Content Design team’s role is to craft straightforward, human experiences.  Approaching design through the lens of language, you’ll leverage your expertise in user experience design, design thinking and product strategy.

As a Content Designer embedded in our US Travel business, you are responsible for creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing content at all stages of the end-to-end user journey. You will own the user experience and content strategy and be comfortable using evidence, data and research to make decisions for a variety of content pieces such as new products, sales panels, help centres, our online claim experience, IVR telephone lines, chatbots as well as claim, payment and complaint emails to name a few. You’ll be expected to design and deliver product flows, new features, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation, product naming, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, write, and test clear, compelling in-product language including product flows, interface language, help materials, and taxonomies.

  • Apply systems thinking to create extensible design patterns and audit existing experiences.

  • Conduct content discovery and research through audits, user surveys, interviews, and workshops.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Localization, Legal, Data Science) from concept to release.

  • Evaluate content effectiveness through analytics, A/B testing, readability and usability.

  • Manage international stakeholder relationships, ensuring global quality standards.

  • Create, review, configure, and proof various content types using tools such as Figma.

Skills & Experience

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years' experience in Content Design, ideally within a multidisciplinary product team.

  • Proficiency in Figma and Google Workspace.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating content design, content modelling, and end-to-end service design.

  • Experience leveraging data insights for actionable UX improvements.

  • Proven capability in conducting customer research and synthesizing insights.

  • Technical skills in personalizing product copy and managing content at scale.

  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams, including Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, and Localization.
