About the Role

We’re looking for a Unity Engineer (contract) to help build the next generation of interactive digital collectibles. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and product leads to create tools and experiences that make our collectibles feel dynamic and engaging. From pipelines that scale content to interactive features fans can play with, your work will directly shape how fans experience digital ownership. This is a role for someone who thrives on collaboration, loves solving tough technical challenges, and is excited to push the boundaries of Unity in Web3.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain pipeline tools and interactive features in Unity (C#) that bring our digital collectibles to life

• Develop and refine internal tooling to support scalable, efficient content workflows

• Partner with cross-functional teammates to design and implement the best technical solutions for our products

• Contribute to UI and UX implementation, ensuring experiences feel intuitive and engaging

• Drive the full development lifecycle — from discovery and prototyping through iteration, optimization, and final polish

We’re Looking for Someone With…

• 1–3+ years of experience developing in Unity with C#

• Proven ability with Unity editor tooling and/or custom tool development

• Proficient with Git and experienced contributing to production-ready projects

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

• Familiarity with 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or similar tools

• Strong fundamentals in software development, UI/UX, and game systems, especially for mobile platforms

Nice to Have

• Python scripting and/or experience building tooling pipelines

• Familiarity with Node.js or modern web frameworks

• Experience with shader development (HLSL, Shader Graph)

• Knowledge of runtime mesh generation

• Contributions to released game titles

• Experience with Unity systems such as Addressables, WebGL builds, or animation pipelines

• Contractor role, full-time (~40 hrs/week)

• Initial contract length of 3 months with potential for extension

• Preferred timezone: PST

• Preferred location: Vancouver, BC (hybrid)

• Target start date: Early October 2025
