About the Role

Dapper Labs is looking for a talented and motivated Junior-Mid 3D Technical Artist / Web Developer with a strong foundation in 3D and interactive technology to join our team as a full-time contractor (40 hrs/week) starting immediately. You’ll be working closely with a cross-functional pipeline team of developers, designers, and product leads to help build the next generation of interactive digital collectibles that run seamlessly on the web and beyond.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain performant prototypes & web applications (React / JS / TypeScript)

• Develop interactive experiences (Three.js / R3F / Unity)

• Contribute to interactive features, pipelines, and tooling (Node / Python / C#)

• Create and optimize 3D assets and workflows (Blender / Unity)

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to deliver polished user experiences

• Write clean, maintainable, testable code with attention to detail

• Optimize graphics, performance, and accessibility across devices and browsers

• Participate in the full lifecycle: discovery, prototyping, iteration, optimization, and polish

Who You Are

• 2+ years of professional experience in web development, software development, and/or Unity development

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React

• Practical experience with Three.js / React Three Fiber / WebGL

• Knowledge of 3D content creation tools (Blender, Maya, etc.)

• Experience with WebGL, GLSL, and writing custom shaders

• Knowledge of Node.js or similar frameworks

• Comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows

• Portfolio or GitHub with relevant projects

Bonus points for:

• Python scripting / pipeline automation experience

• Shader development (GLSL/HLSL/Shader Graph)

• Experience with mobile/web builds, especially Unity WebGL

• Familiarity with Node.js or modern web frameworks

• Runtime mesh generation or procedural content workflows

• Released apps, games, or interactive experiences

• Contractor role, full-time (~40 hrs/week), remote

• Contract length: 3-months to start with possibility of extension
