What we need

The Product Owner is a key member of the product management team, responsible for understanding and translating stakeholder needs into requirements for product development.  The individual in this role must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy.  The Product Owner will effectively embrace the product vision while possessing the drive and attention to detail to bring solutions to market.

This is a highly visible position working cross functionally with end-to-end ownership of projects. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. 

  • Work with cross-functional teams including product, data teams, user experience, engineering, marketing, sales, and support.

  • Identify issues and work closely with stakeholders to research alternatives, drive solutions, respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and mitigate impediments.

  • Serve as a primary representative for product management activities related to user acceptance testing and rollout of product features such as release notes.

  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of product roadmaps. 

  • Contribute to training and supporting internal stakeholders on new product features to increase organizational effectiveness.

  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices.

What you bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Ownership or similar roles

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with/influencing cross-functional teams and gaining consensus

  • Has basic knowledge of general business environment/operation and cost benefit awareness

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities

Nice to have:

  • Real-world AI experience is a plus (ex: demonstrated success in delivering AI-driven features for products, experimentation with AI-powered solutions)

The base salary for the role is 100,000/yr -120,000/yr. Offer will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
