Company Overview:
Daybreak (thedaybreak.com) is revolutionizing sleep health through innovative at-home solutions for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Our FDA-cleared products include a simple finger-worn sleep test and a custom-fit mandibular advancement device that eliminates the need for bulky CPAP machines, masks, or hoses.
We empower individuals to reclaim restful sleep from home, handling everything from diagnosis through insurance processing with a patient-first approach. Serving thousands of patients nationwide, Daybreak is committed to accessibility, clinical excellence, and life-changing outcomes in the telehealth space.
We are building the operational and technical backbone of a rapidly scaling healthcare company, and our systems need to scale just as fast as our mission.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Salesforce Developer to own and evolve the systems that power Daybreak’s core operations and patient experience.
This is not a “ticket-based” development role. You will function as a systems builder and operator, responsible for designing scalable architecture, building automation and integrations, and ensuring Salesforce serves as a reliable backbone for clinical, operational, and business workflows.
You will partner closely with operations, clinical, and product teams to translate messy, real-world processes into structured, durable systems. You will be expected to think beyond code—owning outcomes, not just implementations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from first principles, and wants to directly shape how a high-growth healthcare company runs.
In this role, you will:
Own and evolve core business systems in Salesforce that power patient onboarding, care coordination, and internal operations
Design scalable architecture using declarative tools (Flows) and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components)
Build and maintain integrations across external systems (health platforms, data tools, customer-facing applications) using REST APIs and middleware
Identify and resolve system-wide issues across automation, integrations, and data flows—driving root-cause fixes, not surface-level patches
Improve data architecture, integrity, and system reliability across the Salesforce ecosystem
Translate complex operational needs into structured technical solutions and system designs
Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and product teams to define requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
Contribute to long-term platform strategy and architecture decisions
Build documentation and system clarity that scales organizational understanding over time
Provide targeted internal support when needed, with emphasis on durable fixes and automation over manual workarounds
We’re looking for someone who has:
3+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, and declarative tools)
Deep experience with Salesforce Flow and modern automation best practices
Strong Apex skills (triggers, classes, testing) and familiarity with Lightning Web Components
Experience building and maintaining integrations (REST APIs, middleware, event-driven systems preferred)
Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and scalable system design
Ability to debug complex issues across multiple layers of a system (code, automation, data, integrations)
Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments (startup or scale-up experience preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
Ability to operate with ownership, structure ambiguity, and drive work independently
Approach to the role:
You think like an owner. You design systems, not just features, and take responsibility for outcomes.
You are systems-first. You look beyond immediate fixes to understand how processes should work at scale.
You balance speed with durability. You know when to move fast and when to invest in long-term architecture.
You are hypothesis driven. You form a point of view about system improvements and validate through iteration.
You drive clarity. You turn ambiguous operational needs into structured, buildable solutions.
You build leverage. The systems you create reduce operational friction long after you’ve shipped them.
Why Daybreak
Build and scale systems that support better sleep health for thousands of patients
Take real ownership of Salesforce and core operational workflows
Help define how a rapidly growing healthcare company operates
Work on problems where engineering and operations directly affect patient outcomes
