Job Overview:

The Creative Producer & Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping how the Daybreak brand shows up across social media and culture. This is not a traditional social media management role. We are looking for a creative operator who can develop original, repeatable content franchises, identify compelling narratives, and build a culturally relevant healthcare brand that resonates far beyond the sleep apnea category.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end content lifecycle, from concept development and production to publishing, performance analysis, and iteration. You will create and produce content, develop audience growth strategies, and use engagement insights to continuously refine Daybreak's content engine. Your work will directly influence brand awareness, audience growth, and business outcomes.

This is a rare opportunity to join an experienced team building a mission-driven company from the ground up and transforming how people struggling with sleep apnea access care, improve their sleep, and improve their quality of life.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional creative instincts with strong strategic thinking. You understand how to create content that captures attention, earns engagement, and compounds over time. You're equally comfortable developing big ideas, producing content, analyzing performance, and turning insights into repeatable systems that drive sustainable audience growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging campaigns across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YT shorts, TikTok, etc.), aligned with Daybreak’s goals and voice.

  • Develop repeatable social content franchises and episodic concepts designed to build long-term audience engagement and brand affinity

  • Generate and test high volumes of creative concepts, hooks, formats, and storytelling approaches

  • Identify scalable content patterns based on audience behavior and performance data

  • Build and foster an active and engaged community in social media comments, messages, and interactions

  • Create and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring consistency in posting in collaboration with our other team members.

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, and follower growth. Adjust strategies based on data insights.

  • Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices. Recommend new platforms or approaches to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer success, to align social media efforts with broader company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media & marketing

  • Professional production experience outside of shooting content on an iPhone. We are looking for someone who can run a small production with a small crew (booking locations, getting signed releases, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok; as well as tools such as SocialBee (or similar scheduler), Canva, Facebook Insights

  • Strong creative instincts and visual taste with an understanding of cinematic, elevated, and culturally relevant content (not just platform-native trend replication).

  • Highly creative with an eye for design (design tool experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop

  • Must have experience editing content (both videos and photos) using Adobe Premiere and Capcut and understand key video content production elements (using a microphone, making sure lighting is adequate, etc.)

  • Must be willing to appear in content as all our employees are featured as part of our greater brand awareness

  • Must have detailed experience building social media strategy and bring a nuanced approach to using the technical features of each social media platform

  • Must be comfortable operating within healthcare marketing guidelines and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure content aligns with medical, legal, and brand standards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Manages time effectively, prioritizes tasks, and follow through on commitments

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Please include:

  • Portfolio or social accounts you have directly grown or creatively led

  • Examples of repeatable content series or campaigns you developed

  • Examples of video content you personally produced or directed

  • Metrics or growth outcomes tied to your work
