Job Purpose
As an Account Executive (S2) for our Direct-to-Consumer Sleep Apnea company, you will be responsible for engaging with hot, inbound leads while utilizing multiple channels, including texts, calls, and emails. Your primary goal will be to effectively communicate the benefits of our MAD (Mandibular Advancement Device) products, convert leads into sales, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
This is a player-coach role: in addition to fully carrying out all S2 Account Executive responsibilities, you will lead the sales team day to day: owning team performance, coaching and developing reps, driving process discipline, and setting the tone for a high-performance, patient-first sales culture.
Account Executive (S2) Responsibilities
Warm Lead Engagement: Initiate and maintain contact with hot leads through a combination of texts, calls, and emails to understand their needs and effectively present product solutions.
Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our MAD devices, their features, benefits, and applications to effectively communicate their value proposition.
Sales Conversion: Employ persuasive sales techniques to convert leads into customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing personalized service and ongoing support.
CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to track lead interactions, update customer information, and ensure accurate sales records.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide insights for product development and sales strategy.
Team Lead Responsibilities
Revenue & Performance
Own daily and monthly sales targets (e.g., Changed Lives, revenue, CP)
Monitor conversion, AOV, CP per lead, and refund rate
Identify gaps quickly and implement corrective actions
Ensure disciplined follow-up and full list coverage
Coaching & Development
Lead daily huddles focused on goals, wins, and priorities
Conduct 1:1s with actionable feedback
Review calls and coach on discovery, urgency, and close
Develop reps through clear expectations and improvement plans
Execution & Process
Enforce sales standards (call structure, notes, follow-up SLAs)
Partner with Ops/Marketing to improve activation and conversion
Surface workflow gaps and help refine systems
Ensure accurate CRM usage and data hygiene
Leadership & Culture
Set the tone for urgency, ownership, and patient-first selling
Model high-conviction, empathetic sales behavior
Address performance issues quickly and fairly
Celebrate wins and reinforce purpose
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (internships or entry-level roles may be considered)
At least 6 months of S2 role at Daybreak with strong performance to goal
Must be in office M-F
Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong desire to meet or exceed targets.
Able to handle rejection and persevere, continuing to pursue opportunities
Adaptable and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Customer-centric with strong focus on understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
