At the core of its infrastructure lies a sophisticated integration of hardware and software capabilities aligned with the key principles of situational awareness: perception (data collection), comprehension (data processing), and prediction (analytics). This holistic approach empowers Digantara to monitor all Resident Space Objects (RSOs) in orbit, fostering comprehensive domain awareness.

We are seeking highly organized Project Engineers to join our team. This person is expected to be passionate about orchestrating complex timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve final system and mission goals. In this role, you will take charge of tracking and executing space and ground-based optical projects for SSA applications.

Ideal Candidate:

Work experience in formal project management in the space segment delivering complex project on time and in budget while navigating complex technical and non-technical hurdles.

Responsibilities:

  •  Take full ownership of project timelines, key deliverables, and strict configuration control throughout the product life cycle.

  • Work closely with Systems Engineers to bridge technical development with schedule constraints, ensuring the successful delivery of the overall project.

  • Coordinate complex logistics for field deployments and operations, actively managing both personnel and critical equipment.

  • Track project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement timelines to ensure efficient mission execution.

  • Develop risk mitigation plans and monitor their implementation.

  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and communicate progress, constraints, and issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  •   Work with Supply Chain team to oversee vendor deliverables and critical logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Engineering and/or Masters in Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in project management within the Space industry or affiliated hardware-intensive industries.

  • Experience in engineering project management, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, risk management and effective team collaboration.

  • Strong background in financial tracking, budget forecasting, and vendor negotiations.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Prior experience setting up, administering, and working with formal project management tools such as Smartsheet or Jira.

  • Experience managing the realization of complex hardware systems from conceptualisation till launch/deployment.

  • Professional certification in Project Management (Ex. PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM).

  • Familiarity with the systems engineering life cycle and how it integrates with formal project management.

  • Have a can-do spirit and good problem-solving skills.
