Creative Lead

Job type: Full Time · Department: Sales · Work type: On-Site

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Digantara is a space surveillance and intelligence company with a mission to transform how space surveillance is done through end-to-end infrastructure. Through a seamlessly integrated architecture of proprietary hardware and software, Digantara delivers operationally decisive intelligence to stakeholders. In an era where space underpins the global economy, sovereign capability is not a luxury; it is a necessity. Digantara is delivering the sovereign space surveillance capabilities that nations cannot afford to wait for.

What this role entails

Your mandate is to own how Digantara is understood by governments, defence primes, investors, partners, and the wider space ecosystem. You are not producing collateral on request; you are building the company's voice, narrative, and brand system from the ground up. That means defining how a sovereign space surveillance company talks about itself, translating deep technical capability into language that lands as readily with a defence ministry as with an investor or an engineer, and institutionalising a brand architecture that scales with the company. You will shape perception with full ownership of outcomes: messaging, positioning, executive communication, and the standards everyone else builds against.

What will you own

  • Own and lead Digantara's brand identity, strategic messaging, and market positioning.

  • Build, standardise, and institutionalise company-wide communication and branding collateral to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic alignment.

  • Support teams across Business Development, Strategy, Partnerships, Leadership, Recruitment, and Marketing with high-quality communication materials, presentations, proposals, event assets, and strategic collateral.

  • Translate complex technical and strategic concepts into clear, compelling, and visually effective narratives for customers, partners, investors, and government stakeholders.

  • Drive brand visibility, perception, and thought leadership through creative campaigns, digital presence, industry events, media assets, and executive communication support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Design, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree a plus.

  • 8+ years in brand, strategic communications, corporate marketing, or narrative/content leadership, including ownership of a brand or comms function.

  • Proven ability to translate complex technical products or systems into clear narratives across distinct audiences (technical, commercial, institutional).

  • Strong portfolio spanning messaging and positioning, executive communications, presentations and proposals, and event or media assets.

  • Track record of building and standardising brand systems and collateral — not just executing one-off campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in deep-tech, aerospace, defence, or another technically complex, regulated sector.

  • Familiarity communicating with government, defence, or institutional stakeholders, including awareness of how sensitivity, classification, and export-control considerations shape external messaging.

  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment where you built the function, not inherited it.

  • Comfort operating with ambiguity; you've built a brand voice where the category was still being defined.

  • Design fluency, or a strong track record partnering closely with design and creative teams.
