Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end closure activities.
Hands-on experience in journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
Ability to prepare MIS reports, management reports, and perform financial analysis.
Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and reporting processes.
Experience in audit coordination, issue resolution, and ensuring reporting accuracy.
Ability to guide junior team members and support process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Accounting
Ensure accurate and complete accounting of all business transactions.
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
Perform month-end book closure activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and preparation of financial schedules.
Ensure accounting records comply with accounting policies and standards.
Prepare MIS reports and management reports.
Perform variance analysis and highlight key financial performance drivers.
Support investor reporting and management reporting requirements.
Accounting Operations & Controls
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure timely resolution of accounting issues and unreconciled balances.
Support implementation and monitoring of accounting controls.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors to support financial reporting requirements.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes.
Support ERP enhancements and automation initiatives.
Drive improvements in reporting quality, efficiency, and data accuracy.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Manager – Financial Reporting to deliver reporting objectives.
Guide junior team members on day-to-day accounting activities.
Ensure timely completion of assigned reporting deliverables.
Qualifications:
B.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
4–8 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, controllership, or corporate finance.
Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and month-end close.
Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end closure activities.
Hands-on experience in journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
Ability to prepare MIS reports, management reports, and perform financial analysis.
