Digantara is a leading Space Surveillance and Intelligence company focused on ensuring orbital safety and sustainability. With expertise in space-based detection, tracking, identification, and monitoring, Digantara provides comprehensive domain awareness across regimes, allowing end users to have actionable intelligence on a single platform. At the core of its infrastructure lies a sophisticated integration of hardware and software capabilities aligned with the key principles of situational awareness: perception (data collection), comprehension (data processing), and prediction (analytics). This holistic approach empowers Digantara to monitor all Resident Space Objects (RSOs) in orbit, fostering comprehensive domain awareness.
A seasoned Head of Supply Chain & Logistics with end-to-end ownership of procurement, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and supplier ecosystems for precision hardware products across aerospace, defence electronics, satellites, and advanced manufacturing industries.
Build and scale the core Engineering team of a space-tech company solving real-time surveillance, intelligence, and sustainability challenges on a planetary scale.
Work directly with function heads to build mission-critical High performance Team.
High-autonomy, mission-first culture with opportunities for rapid personal and professional growth.
End-to-end SC ownership in a company making precision hardware — aerospace, defence electronics, satellites, or advanced manufacturing
12–15+ years in supply chain / procurement / materials management in hardware-intensive manufacturing
Managed both procurement/logistics AND internal inventory/stores under one function
Import/export compliance experience — familiarity with IOR, SCOMET, Wassenaar, DGFT, or equivalent export control regimes
ERP/MRP implementation or significant configuration experience (SAP, Oracle, or even Odoo at scale)
Built or significantly scaled a supply chain team (from <5 to 10+)
Managed vendors across multiple countries — especially for long-lead, specialty components
Proven track record of cost optimization initiatives with measurable impact on budgets and margins
Strong negotiation skills — contract structuring, pricing, SLA management across a global supplier base
Education - B.E./B.Tech (Mech/Aero/Industrial preferred) + MBA or APICS/CPSM certification preferred
Builder mentality — Comfortable creating processes, systems, and teams from near-scratch. Not someone who inherits and optimises a mature function.
Program orientation — Thinks in terms of program schedules and integration milestones, not just PO cycle times
Commercial acuity — Drives cost optimization with data, not just negotiation. Owns SC budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting to leadership with measurable outcomes
Stakeholder management — Manages complex relationships across international suppliers, freight forwarders, internal engineering/program teams, and finance. Strong analytical and communication skills
Mentor, not gatekeeper — Will actively assess and grow the existing team, not just layer on top
Regulatory intuition — Understands when to flag dual-use / export control risk early, without needing Legal to prompt them
