We are looking for a builder at heart — someone who can architect, prototype, and ship world-class products while leading a high-performance team.

Role Overview:

As the VP of Engineering, you will own the design and development of our software stack. You will write code, review architectures, and solve hard technical problems while also scaling a team around you. From Python pipelines that crunch terabytes of orbital data, to AWS architectures that scale globally, to WebGL visualizations that give operators a map of space.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and build core software platforms.

• Prototype new products quickly, then scale them into robust, secure systems.

• Lead hands-on development of real-time visualization, analytics, and data processing pipelines.

• Hardwire security-first practices into every layer: cloud infra, APIs, data, and UI.

• Collaborate with Astrodynamics & product teams to deliver tightly integrated systems.

• Build and mentor a team of exceptional engineers who share the same “build-first” ethos.

• Push the boundary of what’s possible in defense-grade software systems for space.

What We're Looking For:

• 10–12 years of software product development experience with a track record of shipping products end-to-end

• Mastery in Python, AWS cloud infra, distributed systems, and data-intensive applications

• Strong experience with WebGL or equivalent 3D/graphics rendering frameworks

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity, encryption, and hardened systems

• Ability to operate as a builder–leader hybrid: coding, reviewing, and guiding teams at the same time

• Experience in defense, aerospace, fintech, or other high-stakes sectors is a plus
