Senior Accountant

Role Overview: We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to provide support to the finance and accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks and month end close. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and be able to work comfortably with numbers while prioritizing attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficiency of the department and assist the company in being fully aware of its financial condition to achieve long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts payable and receivable

• Post allocation journal entries

• Perform reconciliation of credit cards and bank statements for multiple entities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

• Review and analyze Profit and Loss Statement trends

• Prepare reporting packages for lenders

• Work with outside CPA on preparation of tax returns

Required Qualifications

• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred

• 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting field preferred

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Strong excel experience (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Index Match, SUMIFS)

• Experience utilizing QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct
