Vacancy: Legal supervisor of the pension sector

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)

AFM, the Dutch authority supervising financial markets, is looking for a Legal Supervisor in the Pensions sector. You’ll use your legal expertise to oversee how pension providers implement the new Dutch Pension Act, ensuring products, processes, and communications protect consumers and comply with regulations. Work in a multidisciplinary team with legal experts, economists, actuaries, and data analysts on both ongoing supervision and thematic investigations.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree in law (Dutch or financial law preferred)

• 3+ years of relevant legal experience

• Knowledge of pensions and pension legislation

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to translate legal insights into practical supervision
