Vacancy: Technical Vessel Manager

DEME is looking for a Technical Vessel Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the profitability, efficiency, and long-term reliability of your assigned vessels. You will be the leading figure in technical management: challenging execution methods, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that every technical decision supports DEME’s long-term mission.

What you bring:

• You hold a technical degree (e.g. Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field) or have equivalent experience gained through years of hands-on work in the maritime industry.

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing technical operations in a maritime or engineering environment.

• Strong technical expertise and understanding of marine systems, propulsion, electrical, and hydraulic installations, as well as maintenance methodologies.

• Familiarity with financial processes, procurement, contract management, and project management.

• Willingness to be based at our headquarters with regular vessel visits to stay connected to the operational reality of your vessels.
