Work setup: On-site (Belgian headquarters) with occasional international travel to vessels, shipyards, and project sites.

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering projects across DEME's fleet of offshore and dredging vessels. In this role, you will take ownership of electrical upgrades, maintenance campaigns, retrofits, and improvement projects from planning through execution, ensuring vessel systems remain safe, reliable, and future-ready.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, vessel crews, suppliers, and contractors, you'll deliver complex technical projects while driving continuous improvements in the performance and reliability of electrical systems across one of the world's most advanced fleets.

What you bring:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• Around 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within maritime, offshore, industrial, or heavy asset environments

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, drives, automation, and control systems

• Proven experience managing technical projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders

• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong planning and communication skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally to vessels, shipyards, suppliers, and project locations worldwide
