We are looking for a Lead Engineer – New Builds to lead the engineering of DEME's next generation of offshore vessels and assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the complete engineering scope, from concept development through detailed design and construction support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest technical standards.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinate internal specialists and external design partners, manage technical risks, and ensure engineering solutions can be successfully translated into vessel construction.

What you bring:

• A Master's degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.

• 10+ years of experience in complex multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating projects across multiple technical disciplines.

• Broad technical knowledge spanning mechanical, electrical, structural, naval architecture, and automation systems.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to shipyards and project sites internationally.
