Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Help build annual budgets and multi-year rolling financial forecasts by working directly with department heads to collect inputs and align on business assumptions.

Financial Modeling & Strategy: Design and maintain flexible financial models for new strategic projects, pricing strategies, ROI calculations, and "what-if" scenario planning.

Variance Analysis: Track monthly actual performance against budgets (Actuals vs. Plan), pinpoint why numbers deviate, and present clear explanations to senior management.

MIS & Executive Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS dashboards focusing on P&L, cash flow trends, and key operational metrics.

Business Efficiency & SaaS Metrics: Track and analyze key growth metrics such as revenue recognition, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Lifetime Value (LTV) to highlight operational efficiency.

Investor Relations & Due Diligence: Help build pitch decks, financial presentations, and data packs for board meetings, investors, and potential fundraising rounds.

Process Automation: Continuously improve our budgeting and reporting workflows using modern financial tools and software.

Requirements:

Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

Experience: 1–2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Business Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance within a fast-paced startup or tech company.

Modeling Expertise: Strong hands-on experience building complex financial models and managing data in MS Excel / Google Sheets.

Business Acumen: Good understanding of financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and unit economics (CAC, LTV, Margins).
