Professional Services Engineer

Role Overview 

The Professional Services Engineer s a technical role responsible for building, testing, and supporting custom integrations on our in-house iPaaS platform (Spring Boot). This role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions while learning best practices in development, DevOps, and enterprise integration. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Build and test custom integrations under guidance from PS Engineer – Level 3.

● Write automation tests, fix bugs, and perform SOP-based configuration updates.

● Support deployments during UAT and Production phases. 

● Maintain and update internal documentation for solutions and processes. 

● Learn and adopt best practices in DevOps, monitoring, and integration workflows. 

● Understand how integrations interact with the core Platform and its APIs and build on top of it. 

● Work with fellow Engineers to identify Platform dependencies for upcoming customer solutions. 

Required Skills & Experience 

Experience: 2+ years in software development or relevant technical roles.

Technical 

● Strong coding skills in Java / Spring Boot and REST APIs. 

● Hands-on experience with SQL and basic ETL processes. 

● Familiarity or willingness to learn DevOps practices, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.

● Ability to follow structured SOPs and documentation standards. 

Soft Skills

● Willingness to learn from senior engineers and ask clarifying questions.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

● Clear written and verbal communication for documentation and updates.

● Collaborative, proactive, and open to feedback. 

● Customer empathy and an understanding of delivery timelines and business impact.
