Ignite Banking is looking for candidates with hands-on experience in commercial and treasury digital banking and open finance, who can help banks modernize payments, API infrastructure, and develop the next generation of SMB/Treasury products.
You’ll work at the intersection of business, technology, and product, helping deliver:
Commercial digital banking platforms (e.g., Q2, Bottomline, FIS, Fiserv)
Treasury/cash management and payments experiences (ACH, wires, entitlements, liquidity)
API-driven ecosystems and open finance/systems integrations
This role is central to large-scale banking modernization initiatives, including core transformation, digital platform evolution, and fintech integrations.
Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and business process analysis across complex banking environments
Design and optimize end-to-end commercial and treasury digital experiences
Translate payments and cash management workflows into scalable digital solutions
Partner with core providers, digital banking platforms, and fintechs to deliver integrated solutions
Define and support API integrations and open finance capabilities
Facilitate stakeholder alignment across business, technology, and compliance teams
Create clear documentation, workflows, and visual artifacts (e.g., Miro, Lucid, Visio)
Analyze impacts to operations, risk, and compliance (BSA/AML, OFAC)
Support testing (UAT/regression), implementation, and adoption
Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities
5+ years of experience in business analysis, solution design, or business architecture within financial services or fintech
Hands-on experience in commercial or treasury digital banking (cash management, payments, entitlements, liquidity, commercial lending)
Experience working with digital banking platforms or ecosystems (Q2, Bottomline, FIS/Dragonfly, Fiserv etc.)
Exposure to APIs, integrations, or open banking/open finance frameworks
Strong business analysis skills (requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, scope management)
Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to operate in client-facing, fast-paced environments
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
Stakeholder communication and relationship management
Requirements gathering, documentation, and scope management
Analytical thinking and root cause problem solving
Process design, workflow mapping, and visualization
Adaptability and ability to quickly learn new systems and domains
Strong ownership mindset with a willingness to be hands-on
Experience with payments modernization (real-time, ACH, wires)
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Miro, Figma, Lucid, Visio
Working knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, and regulatory frameworks
Experience working with fintech partners, embedded finance, or API ecosystems
Exposure to core banking transformations
This role is not a fit if your experience is primarily:
Retail/consumer banking focused
General consulting or BA work without digital platform involvement
Conceptual API/open banking knowledge without real delivery experience
We focus on the parts of banking that are technically complex and highly critical to large regional and national banks:
Commercial digital experiences
Payments and treasury modernization
Open finance and ecosystem connectivity
You won’t just document requirements, you’ll help design and deliver modern banking tech that actually works.
